In August, Huawei ranked 27th among the "2016 China Top 500 Enterprises". On June 6, 2017, "BrandZ's Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands 2017" was announced, and Huawei ranked 49th. On June 30, 2017, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. won the Special Award for the International Registration of Madrid Trademarks for the China Trademark Gold Award. In February 2018, Vodafone and Huawei completed their first 5G call test; [8] In August 2018, the Australian government banned Chinese companies Huawei and ZTE from supplying their planned 5G mobile network equipment on the grounds of national security concerns.
